Sony TV presents 'Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat'..starting from 25th February, 2013

Mumbai, February 20th, 2013: What if someone you never met, someone you never saw, someone you never knew was the only someone for you? Sony’s new show ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se – Khoobsurat’ spins a tale of love of a young girl for a hero who is unseen but not unheard. This is not love at first sight. This is love at first hearing, when the voice captures the heart and imagination. Sony Entertainment Television proudly presents ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se- Khoobsurat’, a new heartwarming show of love in a different avatar. The show premieres February 25, 2013 every Monday to Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd., ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se – Khoobsurat’ unpredictable in its approach, looks at love from a new perspective. Relationships are forged on new grounds and new promises, where mature evaluation of real tenderness is based on solid strengths. The show delves on the story of Aradhya played by Somya Seth, a pretty young, naïve free willed girl next door who stays along with her parents and elder sister, Madhav (Rohit Khuranna) who is a complete contrast to Aradhya, an introvert who suffers from a strong complex due to his ugly looks and his best friend, Rahul (Abhishek Malik) an extremely good looking man who can make any girl go weak in her knees.

Aradhya the protaganist is deeply in love with Ehsaas, a charmer by heart and an exceptionally talented radio jockey who, through his show, brightens up Aradhya’s day and puts a smile on her face. Aradhya is smitten by his voice. She imagines him to be the prince charming of her dreams, with stunning looks and believes that her own beauty and grace deserves someone who is equally magnificent in appearance. To her, Ehsaas is an embodiment of all her desires, as she continues to paint a mental portrait of him. But does Ehsaas really exist? Or is he just a façade on which Aradhya has pinned all her hopes and dreams? The story takes us through the thrust and parries of the couple’s struggle as they reach a state of true understanding.

Vivek Bahl, Chief Creative Director, Sony Entertainment Television adds, “In a society obsessed with physical beauty, where do the not-so-beautiful stand….? Does a society hung up on the outer beauty have any space or patience for what lies within the soul…? Against the context of a love story, Dil Ki Nazar Se – Khoobsurat asks some pertinent questions, exploring the conflicts in a society of two worlds… the beautiful and the not-so-beautiful. We hope that the viewers will enjoy our latest offering.”

Mrs. Sumeet Mittal, “Foremost, we are very excited being associated with Sony Entertainment Television as a Producer. Earlier, we had done a show ‘Vaidehi’ as a writer and hope this association will bring desired results. Khoobsurat is an unusual but relatable love story about a girl who falls in love with a voice. The story is based in Jaipur. In today’s age, where we often hear about relations not working due to reasons as incompatibility or we have outgrown each other etc… We still have people in India who get married without meeting each other and they develop and share a beautiful relationship. In this show, we witness the simplicity and innocence of a girl who falls in love with a boy without seeing him…She is our Khoobsurat Aradhya.”

Dil Ki Nazar Se – Khoobsurat includes a stellar star cast that comprises of the charming and gracious Somya Seth along with noted actors like Rohit Khurana, Abhishek Malik, Sandeep Rajora, Meenakshi Verma along with many others who will be seen playing significant roles in this show.

Will Aradhya and Ehsaas ever meet and be able to profess their love to each other? In this unseen romance will looks matter and triumph over true love when both come face to face with each other? Will Aradhya finally see the man whose voice she is in love with, Will the man behind the voice be as beautiful and good looking as his voice?

Tune in to ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se…Khoobsurat’ starting 25th February, 2013 Monday to Friday at 7:30 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.
